1838. London and Birmingham Railway opened

Went shopping in the morning with Andy & Joy. Went for a walk with daddie & the dogs. Went shopping alone at Selfridges. Paddy & Mrs Miller came to dinner. We all went to see “The Fugitives” with Marion Lorne, Godfrey Tearle & Edwin Styles in it.
