Diary sub-note: 1850. Balzac, French novelist, died

Went to see Mrs Graham in the morning. Went to tea with Mrs Milnes. Saw Mrs Kennedy. Wrote to Anne Bourne. Mrs Milnes gave me a lovely picture of David.
