March 3rd 1936

Diary sub-note: 1879. William Howitt, author, died

Daddie sent me some peaches & a P.C. [postcard] Played goal in games. I had a sum right in arith. Stuck pictures of “David” in my book & cut out more pictures. Started Vol: II.

Diary entry March 3rd 1936

P.C. is an abbreviation of ‘postcard’
Arith is an abbreviation of arithmatic
I assume the ‘Vol: II’ refers to her second book of pictures of David, who was the current King of England, Edward VIII (Edward Albert Christian George Andrew Patrick David. Known to his close family as David).
