Diary sub-note: 1856. Annexation of Oude
Full Moon, 11.19 a.m.

Played quite well in games bothe [sic] morning & afternoon. Coached Jill Trench in goal. Liz came with Anne & me after breakfast. Miss Drake came to watch the dancing. Miss Ford praised my skipping and scotch steps.
