Dairy sub-note: 1933. John Galsworthy, author, died

Had a mixed game of “Lax” with only 5 each side. I heard that I was to play point instead of goal in the match tomorrow. Didn’t skip or do Scotch steps in dancing. Walk round the wood with Anita, Carole & José while the others played games. Lavender brought me some more pictures of “David”.

“Lax” refers to the game of Lacrosse.
“David”, again, refers to the new King Edward VIII
